Course Registration

How to Register

Matriculated Students

Prior to registering for courses, current students matriculated into a Rowan Global academic program should consult with their Academic Advisor to confirm which courses they need and what terms they are offered in. Students must also consult with their Academic Advisor to request course overrides (pre-requisites, capacity, etc.). After consulting with an advisor, current students may self-register online via their self-service account.

Students can find all course information needed to complete registration for upcoming terms in Rowan's Section Tally. For instructions on how best to search and use the Section Tally, please review information on the Course Search page.

Registration is open in Self-Service Banner from 7AM to 11PM during the registration period.

  1. Select your courses based on academic advising
    1. Note the Course Registration Number (CRN) (5-digit number) for each course
  2. Login to Self-Service Banner
  3. Select the Student tab
  4. Click Registration
  5. Click Register for Classes
  6. Select the Term (Spring 2020) from the drop-down menu
  7. Select Continue
  8. Select Enter CRNs
    1. Enter the 5-digit CRN of a course
    2. Tab to enter or select +Add Another CRN to add more
    3. Once you have entered all of the CRNs, select Add to Summary
  9. Select the green Submit button
  10. To remove a course, select Remove under the Action column, then select Submit.

Non-Matriculated Students

Students are considered a non-matriculated/visiting student if they have not been formally admitted and matriculated into a Rowan degree or certificate program. Non-matriculated/visiting students are not eligible for financial aid. Please fill out the Activation & Registration form located on the Office of the University Registrar website.
