The Web Development Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) is intended for computer scientists who wish to enhance their skill set in the field of web development. Prospective students may be recent graduates holding a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or be more experienced professionals seeking to increase their marketability by learning the latest technologies.

Admission Requirements

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional action or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • Completed Application Form
  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Current professional resume
  • Typewritten statement of professional objectives (including motivation for applying to the program)
  • Two letters of recommendation from professional sources
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Submission of official GRE test results is highly recommended
