International Admissions

International Graduate Student Admission Process

Applicants to Visa Eligible On-Campus Programs (in U.S.)

To complete the application process, you must do the following:

Step 1

Submit an International Graduate Application.

Step 2

Submit all of the materials required for your program of interest via email to or postal mail to:

All applicants must check the program-specific admission requirements for particular program of interest (visit a program page for admission requirements).

Step 3

Submit proof of English proficiency. You can take the TOEFL IBT (minimum 70 points), the TOEFL PBT (minimum 525 points), the IELTS (minimum 6.0 points), or the PTE (minimum 50). More information about English language proficiency requirements.

A scanned copy of your IELTS or PTE score can be emailed to Official TOEFL score must be sent directly from the ETS to the following address:

Step 4

Email the following items to the International Center at

  • Completed I-20 application
  • Copy of your passport information page (picture page)
  • Proof of sufficient financial resources (Bank statement/letter, scholarship letters, etc.)
  • Sponsor's proof of annual income (letter from employer or tax returns)

Rowan University does not return any application or financial documentation materials after submission, so we strongly recommend you keep copies of all items you submit. Application Deadlines

Most graduate programs accept students throughout the year.

  • If you want to start at Rowan in fall semester, please apply by July 1st.
  • If you want to start at Rowan in spring semester, please apply by November 1st.

Tuition*: $12,600/year**
Fees*: $2,842/year**
Housing & Meals: $10,000/year**
Health Insurance: $800 - $3,500/year**
Textbooks: $500 - $1,500/year**

*Tuition and fees are based on 9 credits/semester and may vary in select programs.
** A year: fall semester and spring semester.
