Completing a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) in Business affords Rowan Master of Business Administration (MBA) alumni, as well as M.B.A. graduates of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (A.A.C.S.B.) accredited universities, the opportunity to complete an area of concentration, or complete a new concentration. These certificates provide M.B.A. graduates an opportunity to prepare themselves for opportunities in a rapidly-changing workplace by enrolling in concentrations related to their current or expected career paths.

The four concentrations are Accounting, Finance, Management and Management Information Systems.

The Post-MBA Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) will require students to take three graduate level courses in the MBA Accounting concentration.

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation, or will indicate any missing items.

 

  • Completed Application Form
  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • MBA (or its equivalent) from an AACSB accredited institution of higher learning
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Current professional resume
  • Typewritten statement of professional objectives
    • Provide reasons for pursuing the program. Describe how you might use this program to advance your career (educational goals beyond the master's level, if applicable, are also relevant).
