The Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies provides a degree completion program for those students that have an Associate's Degree within a Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) profession (e.g., ultrasound, radiology, etc). Students must also have a certification in one of these areas to apply to this program. This program will provide students with critical professional skills not covered in the Associate's Degree program that will make them highly competitive in the job market. These skills include but are not limited to: professionalism, adaptability, problem-solving, leadership, multicultural sensitivity, and planning and organization.

Rowan University requires the completion of 120 semester hours (30 S.H. must be at Rowan University) of approved general education and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor's degree. The B.A. in Health Studies: School of Health Professions degree completion program is a part-time program (with possible full-time enrollment) that provides students with 33 of the required semester hours.

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • Associate's Degree or an equivalent number of transferable college credits
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Current professional resume
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
