The B.A. in Human Services program at Rowan University prepares individuals to serve as human services providers, community service specialists, and criminal justice, corrections and social service professionals. The curriculum is designed to combine theory and research with application in experiential learning settings in the urban community and social service agencies. Classes for the last two years of this program are offered at Rowan's Camden campus. The Human Services program is designed for students who are interested in studying and working with individuals of diverse populations in urban settings.

Rowan University requires the completion of 120 semester hours (30 s.h. must be at Rowan University) of approved general education (Freshmen beginning Fall 2018 or later must meet Rowan Core requirements) and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor's degree. The B.A. in Human Services degree completion program is a full or part-time program offered on the Rowan University Camden campus only, that provides students with 45 of the required semester hours in the major. Students must also choose (in consultation with an academic advisor) and complete course work in one of the following concentrations: Direct Services, Administration or Criminal Justice.

Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Associate's Degree or 24 semester hours of transferable college credits
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
