The Construction Management Certificate of Graduate Study provides a 12 hour graduate-level experience with application in the civil engineering, construction industry, state and local governments. The certificate is designed to meet the needs of individuals who are established in careers and are seeking professional growth and advancement within their professions. The engineering management approach adapts special management techniques with the purpose of obtaining better control and use of existing resources. The certificate is a 12 hr specialization in construction management, which can be a tract in the 30 hr Master of Engineering Management program. It is intended for civil engineer, engineering technology, and construction management graduates who plan to enhance their prospects for success and move into management.

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • Completed Application Form
  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Current professional resume
  • Statement of professional objectives
  • Two letters of recommendation

    • Letters of recommendation should be from professional administrators and include information which attests to applicant's ability to pursue a graduate degree
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
