The Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) in Cybersecurity Principles is designed to offer students the opportunity of a specialized study to provide students with experience with the principles of cybersecurity at the graduate level. This COGS is “stackable.” That is, all of the courses count for the MS in Cyber Security and some of the courses count for the MS in Computer Science.

The Cybersecurity Principles Certificate of Graduate Study is a part-time program offered at our main campus in Glassboro, NJ. It requires the completion of 12 graduate semester hours (4 courses).

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

  • Completed Application Form
  • $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
  • Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
