Human Services Criminal Justice Certificate (CUGS)
Program Overview
The Human Services Criminal Justice Certificate of Undergraduate Study (C.U.G.S.) will introduce students who are not Human Services majors to both theoretical and practical approaches used by professionals working in a variety of human services agencies. It will be of particular interest to Criminal Justice majors seeking work in the Corrections field. An increased need for probation and parole officers is foreseen by the State of New Jersey, this is designed to help meet that need. The courses will provide an overview of the skills and perspectives best suited to assisting them in applying their other coursework to real world settings, meeting the needs of employers as they navigate our changing societies. It will also prepare them for positions as diversity trainers, human services providers, managers and staff of human services agencies, and human rights organizations.
The Human Services-Criminal Justice Certificate of Undergraduate Study is a full-time or part-time program offered in a face-to-face format at our Camden, NJ campus. It requires the completion of 15 undergraduate semester hours (five courses).

- Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
Deadlines, Tuition & Financial Aid
