Supporting Mental Health & Social Emotional Development CAGS
Program Overview
The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Supporting Mental Health and Social Emotional Development in Educational and Professional Settings supports the development of content knowledge for students who hold any educational degree, those working in other professionally related fields, and community stakeholders. This CAGS will fill the gap and knowledge for currently enrolled students in educator master’s programs, and for those currently working in educational settings, agencies, or in the community; while remaining current with educational and professional trends. Students will learn knowledge and practices that closely examine how mental health and other diagnoses affect the academic and social development of all individuals. This CAGS aims to educate, provide awareness, and give specific academic and social emotional strategies that educators, families, and community professionals can implement to assist in helping all individuals succeed.
