Entrepreneurial Mindsets are in demand. Employers, alumni, and CEOs from across industries agree that an entrepreneurial approach to activities and outcomes – being drawn to opportunities, innovation, and value creation - is essential for success in today’s business world. Rowan’s Entrepreneurship Certificates of Graduate Studies (COGS) options leverage the vast entrepreneurial resources available for students to develop as leaders, think more entrepreneurially, and find new ways to create value. Each of the three Entrepreneurship COGS has a focused theme: Technology and Innovation, Corporate Entrepreneurship, and Leading Innovative Organizations.

The Technology & Innovation COGS not only allows students to gain an understanding of the nature of entrepreneurship in various organizational settings, but also why it is essential for today's entrepreneurs to be familiar with technological topics like e- commerce, web marketing, web safety, and legal issues on the web. Students then apply their entrepreneurial knowledge in a real world setting offering advice to improve business performance and address crucial issues.

The Technology and Innovation COGS is a valuable stand-alone credential for those seeking to refresh skills in their current roles. The Technology and Innovation COGS program can also serve as a micro-credential on the way toward earning a degree, allowing students to sample content prior to being formally admitted into Rowan’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an Entrepreneurship Area of Concentration.

The Technology and Innovation COGS is also ideal for those who have not yet taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) as GMAT scores are not a requirement for admission to the COGS program. Students who wish to later pursue the MBA Program at Rowan may have all COGS credits transferred into the MBA degree to satisfy an Entrepreneurship Area of Concentration; for this option, students must work with their Academic Advisor to ensure courses selected will satisfy Area of Concentration requirements.
